WHAT IS SEALOGY® DIGITAL PREVIEW ?
B2Blue is one of the matchmaking events promoted by MISTRAL, an Interreg MED programme. B2Blue takes place in the framework of Sealogy®.
SEALOGY® is the first European event dedicated to the Blue Economy and a major trade fair on the sea universe and all its resources: the entire supply chain with all its excellences and with particular reference to shellfish and seafood coming from the Middle and Upper Adriatic Sea.
With the confirmation of support from the European Commission and the major National institutions, SEALOGY®, the exhibition entirely dedicated to Blue Economy, resumes its organizational activities.
Due to the ongoing health emergency, Ferrara Fiere Congressi has decided to postpone the live edition of the first European fair on Blue Economy to 2021.
On the web, from 19 to 22 November, the digital preview of the European Exhibition on Blue Economy in Ferrara anticipates the live event scheduled for April 2021.
After the postponement of the edition scheduled for March 2020, due to the ongoing health emergency, the Presidency of Ferrara Fiere e Congressi deemed it appropriate and indispensable to reschedule the live exhibition for April 2021, proposing for the current year exclusively a digital preview,
in agenda from 19 to 22 November 2020.
An entirely digital event that involves the participation of a large panel of experts and stakeholders from the different sectors of Blue Economy. Fishing and aquaculture, coastal and maritime tourism, biotechnologies and marine renewable energies, maritime and coastal transport, shipbuilding and
offshore are the pillars of the Blue Economy but, above all, the heart of SEALOGY®.
SEALOGY® Digital Preview offers a rich calendar of webinars, on-line meetings and digital initiatives presenting the best of Italian excellences, good practices of sustainable development but also innovative start-ups linked to the blue universe.
Among the various events, SEALOGY® Digital Preview will also anticipate some initiatives staged in 2021 as the workshop on the future of FLAG (acronym of Fisheries Local Action Groups), the coastal action groups engaged in implementing the participatory local development of coastal fisheries and aquaculture communities under the European Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Fund (EMFF 2014/2020).
SEALOGY® Digital Preview sees itself as a virtual marketplace where all stakeholders of the sea and the fish industry are able to connect, find business opportunities, give a concrete contribution to sustainable development and the European Programming 2021-2027, discuss the most advanced technologies and best practices for the protection and promotion of the marine environment.
